Product Description

The Banting Diet Green Food List are all of the healthy foods that you can eat relatively freely while following a banting lifestyle. Most of the foods on this list are below 5g of carbohydrates per serving size.

For each food item on the Banting Green Food list you will be able to see the average calorie, fat, carbohydrate, fibre, net carbs and protein for each item per serving. Now you can easily calculate how many carbs or net carbs you are eating per day. If your aim is weight-loss, you probably want to stick to a maximum of 25g of net carbs or 50g of total carbs per day.

The Banting Diet Green food list has many healthy foods that you will love while following a banting lifestyle. Bacon, Cheese, Vegetables, Cream, Nuts, Butter, Mayonnaise and more. Just remember that for those items that are pre-packaged (like mayonnaise) it is always best to check the label for the carb content. Many items labelled as “lite” or “light” just mean that they have taken the fat out of the product and added more sugar!

To calculate the net carbs, all you do is take the total carbohydrate value of the product per serving size and deduct the value of the fibre per serving size. For instance if the total carb value is 12g and fibre is 8g per 100g of product, and a serving size is only 30g, then the carb value will be 12 divided by 100 and times 30 = 3,6. You can work out the fibre value per serving in the same way: 8 divided by 100 and times 30 = 2,4. Then to work out the net carbs per 30g serving, you subtract 2,4 (fibre) from 3,6 (carbs). Therefore your net carb value per serving is: 1,2g.

Enjoy this Banting Diet Green Food List, and don’t forget to print it, laminate it and stick it on your fridge so that you can always stay on track with your healthy lifestyle!
